Passport Re-Issue (Adult) & Fresh Issue (Minor)

Hello Friends,
I am sharing my experience of passport application at Herald House, ITO, New Delhi.

1. Show your appointment receipt and guard will let you inside 15mins prior.
2. Get your documents checked at the counter who will provide you with token no.
3. Show your token to another guard. He will let you in. Then wait for your turn in row A on the same floor.
4. After finishing the work at row A. Then move to 1st floor and wait for your turn at row B.
5. After finishing the work at row B. Then wait for your turn at row C.
6. After finishing the work at row C. Then submit the documents at Exit Counter and collect a receipt from him.

There are 3 big alliances (oneworld, SkyTeam, or Star Alliance) in the world.

Register in FFP of your preferred airline one in each alliance.


Scenario 1
I being an Indian have registered for Air India (Flying Returns) FFP which is part of Star Alliance.
For example, I traveled by Air Canada and Lufthansa. So I sent my tickets to Air India and got the miles credited to my Air India (Flying Returns) FFP.

Scenario 2
There are some airlines which are not part of any alliance. But you can still check out their partner airlines.
For example, I have traveled by Emirates and Etihad. Both of them are not part of any alliance. But both of them are partners with Jet Airways. So I sent my tickets to Jet Airways and got the miles credited to my Jet Airways (Jet Privilege) FFP.

Redemption
You can redeem the miles in terms of air ticket, shopping vouchers or some other benefits. Always book a redemption air ticket in 10-15days in advance otherwise there will be some additional charges.

Caution
Do not register for every individual airline's FFP because you will not be able to combine your miles from multiple FFP for booking a ticket. Always choose a preferred airline's loyalty program and stick to it.
