Duplicate RC / Removal of Hypothetication / Renewal of Driving Licence

Duplicate Registration Certificate (R.C.) at Delhi RTA
1) Form No. 26 in duplicate (one form to be attested)
2) Affidavit (On Rs10 Stamp Paper)
3) Address Proof copy - like Election Id
4) Identity Proof copy - like passport copy
5) PAN copy (Form 60 if PAN not available)
6) Police FIR/NCR

Note: All copies to be affixed with Rs5 stamp and notary sign.
Fees: Rs100 Service Charge + Rs370 Smart Card fees
Collect the smart card after 20 days of fee deposit.
An authority letter if documents are being submitted by someone else.

Removal of Hypothetication
1) Form 35 in duplicate (to be provided by financier)
2) NOC (to be provided by financier)
3) Original RC
4) All above documents

Renewal of Driving License
1) Form 9 in duplicate
2) Address Proof - like Election Id
3) ID Proof - like Election Id
4) Existing Driving License original
5) Form 1A Medical Fitness for Senior Citizen

Travelling abroad

Things to carry
  1. Clothes (socks, belts, undergarments, warmer)/Shoes (Formal & Sports)/Slipper (for room)/Sandals (If you are going to beach)
  2. Food Items/Namkeen/Ready to Eat Noodles & Soup/Sweets/Tea bags (black & green)
  3. Medicine - Pain Killer, Cough Syrup, Fever, Antacid/Pudin Hara
  4. Empty travel bag to bring back the stuff you shopped.
  5. Empty water bottle and empty lunch box.
  6. Books to read/Music & Movies on your laptop/phone
  7. Some local currency & USD (as you get better conversion rates)
  8. Few empty polythene bags for wet clothes.
  9. Toothbrush/Paste/Shaving Cream/Razor/Ear bud/Lip Balm/Sunscreen/Nail cutter/Moisturizer/Detergent/Washing Soap/Hair Oil/Hair Cream/Face Wash
  10. International Travel Adapter/Power Extension/LAN Cable/3G Dongle. Make sure you are carrying a universal adaptor or destination country specific adaptor.
  11. Mobile Phone/Charger/SIM Card Ejector Tool (pin). Make sure your phone supports the destination country network.
  12. Camera with charger & memory card
  13. Laptop with charger and sufficient battery backup
  14. Keep copies of your passport and photos which is  required for buying local SIM card and forex exchange.
  15. Note: Wrap all liquid things in polythene pouches which can spill in your travel bags.
Things to do in advance
  1. Book Hotel
    • Confirm if vegetarian/Indian/Continental breakfast is inclusive.
    • Check if the hotel has a functional restaurant for breakfast buffet or it is going to be under renovation.
    • Inform the hotel in advance if you need early checkin or late checkout. Every country has different checkin/checkout time.
    • Inform the hotel if you are going to reach the hotel late as they might cancel your reservation as you have not turned up in few hours of standard checkin time.
    • Carry swimming and gym gear if pool and gym is available at the hotel.
  2. Arrange for Airport Transfer
  3. Inform bank & credit card company that you are going abroad because sometimes they may block your transactions considering them suspicious.
  4. Settle all your utility bills in your home country
  5. Enable international roaming on your phone.
  6. Leave your travel itinerary at home
  7. Check weather forecast and carry appropriate clothing & shoes.
  8. Buy overseas mediclaim/health insurance/travel insurance.
At the Airport
  1. Reach airport atleast 3hrs in advance of the departure time.
  2. Do web checkin as the queues are much smaller.
  3. Remember to take tags for your hand baggage which will be stamped at security check.
  4. Check the weight of your checkin luggage
  5. Fill the immigration form when you are standing in air-line or security check queue.
